Since the summer, RSAA/Büro Ziyu Zhuang has won several international awards.

German Design Award

In early May, the studio was shortlisted for the German Design Award. The German Design Award is an authoritative international design award sponsored by the German Design Council, founded in 1953 with the support of the German Federal Parliament. The nomination requirements for the award are very strict and cannot be applied by individuals or companies themselves. They must be nominated by the German Design Council. Most of the nominated projects have won international design awards. The current award winner list will release on August of 2018. 

INNODESIGN PRIZE

In mid-May, the studio was nominated for 2018 INNODESIGN PRIZE Space Design/Interior Design and entered the final round of the award. Final nominations and the list of the winners will be announced on 15th October of 2018.

ICONIC AWARDS: Innovative Architecture

In early June, the studio has won 2018 ICONIC AWARDS: Innovative Architecture- Best of Best. The Iconic Design award is an overall design competition organized by the German Design Council, which is held annually to recognize architectural projects and products. This year's awards ceremony will be held on October 8 in Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich. 

World Architecture Festival

In late June, Tongling Recluse by RSAA/ Büro Ziyu Zhuang is a finalist of the 2018 World Architecture Festival New and Old- Completed Buildings. This year's architectural festival will be held at the RAI Amsterdam from 28th to 30th. By then, all the finalists will participate in the on-site reply and the final winners will be selected at the scene.
