The whole year’s work depends on a good start in spring. RSAA/ Büro Ziyu Zhuang produced a rich harvest in this spring. After the New Year, we won the 2018’s German Reddot Design Award. In March, Tongling Recluse was selected as the top 10 buildings of the year in Archdaily China. In mid-April, the project won the gold A' Design Award of 2018. 

Reddot Design Award

As a world-renowned award, the German Reddot Design Award was founded by the German Reddot Design Award was founded by the German Design Association Design Zentrum NRW in 1955 and is one of the largest and most influential competitions in the world famous design competitions. The Reddot Design Award is not only a symbol of high quality but also a good platform in which the winning entries can be exhibited in the Red Dot Design Museum, the Red Dot Design Yearbook and the online exhibition. This can be the best presentation for the works as well as the designers. 

Building of the year 2018

In addition, RSAA/ Büro Ziyu Zhuang was honored to be shortlisted in the top 10 of 2018 Archdaily China the Building of the Year with Foster+ Partners, Heatherwick Studio and Architectural Design & Research Institute of SCUT and so on. Archdaily is the most visited Architecture site and has more than 500,000 daily readers. 

A' Design Award & Competition

In mid-April, the studio won the gold A' Design Award of 2018. The winning work is highly integrated with the tradition and contemporary in the Chiese context. In this case, the project stands out from remarkable works from 100 countries and becomes one of the annual 2~3 gold award winners. The award ceremony will be held on June 29 in Como, Italy.
